Job Description
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Operations Security Team is seeking a highly talented and motivated physical Security Program Manager (SPM) to join our team.

The position is responsible for the design installation and integration of security systems equipment including but not limited to Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.
The ideal candidate for the role will be willing and able to work in all related disciplines at all levels; from technology research to system design and layout oversight of construction and implementation as well as maintenance and upgrades over the life of the system. You will have an indepth knowledge of security technology be innovative highly organized and will have demonstrated the ability to deliver results on time and within budget.
The SPM is a key member of the EMEA Security team and reports to the MultiCluster Security Program Manager. The SPM supervises the compliance of physical security standards manages Physical Security Projects serves on cross functional teams and is considered one of the Subject Matter Experts in all facets of Physical Security.
The SPMs ultimate success will be measured by how they assist with the development implementation and commissioning of standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region. This is measured by agreed upon objectives and metrics related to key areas such as the level and quality of customer service provided access control effectiveness and the protection of our customers data employees and visitors. The position is responsible for observing Physical Security Standards and Programs that support the goals of the Global Physical Security Team while enabling the local site managers to draw related services from the team in a selfservice manner.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and were looking for talented people who want to help.
Youll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles. Youll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Key job responsibilities
Designing developing and implementing solutions for system installations upgrades repairs and change outs.
Ensuring compliance with physical security project standards project Scopes of Work budgets and timelines.
Managing the installation operation and maintenance of regional and/or global physical security systems with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Effective prioritization of tasks and seamless operation across organizational boundaries.
Supporting security system equipment commissioning.
Completing final Test and Acceptance of security systems.
and coordination of preventative maintenance and repairs to security system equipment.
Building and deploying training programs for all users of physical security systems.

Demonstrated experience in managing the operation and installation of regional and/or global physical security systems.
Experience as a Project Manager for large and complex Physical Security installations.
Advanced knowledge and experience with the Security Integrator Industry.
CPP PSP or CISSP Certification.
Strong knowledge in Design of Security Systems.
Certification in LenelS2 Access Control Systems.
Extensive experience in corporate security and workplace safety.
