Job ID: 29153 Campground Attendant (Summer Seasonal)
Agency: Game Fish and Parks
Location: Bruce Oakwood State Park
Minimum Salary: $ 14.20
Closing Date: 5/16/2024
Assist in the overall operation and upkeep of a state parks Welcome Center campgrounds and day use facilities. Tasks will include but are not limited to cleaning comfort stations camping cabins vault toilets picnic shelters collecting fees answering phones and other customer service duties cleaning fire grates managing the Ecommerce system and providing information to the public. Other duties as assigned.
General Requirements:
Money handling experience is helpful. Ability to work independently manage time well and work in a variety of weather conditions outdoors. Uniforms are provided and employees must comply with uniform dress code. Valid drivers license required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of how to operate a computer and make change. Ability to learn how to operate a UTV golf cart and vehicle. Ability to learn how to properly clean and sanitize buildings throughout the park.
Please note this is a temporary or seasonal nonbenefited position exempt from civil service.
