Employment based visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
The successful candidate will teach three courses per semester (fall and spring) supporting both undergraduate and graduate programs through studentcentered courses in environmental and earth sciences. The candidate will also contribute to curriculum development with innovative and current approaches in their area of expertise. Furthermore the candidate is expected to establish and maintain an active and productive research program in computational environmental science regularly disseminating findings through peerreviewed publications and actively pursuing external funding and competitive grants to support their research. The successful candidate will mentor undergraduate and M.S. students integrating them into research projects and collaborate with faculty within the department and across the University of West Florida. Additionally the candidate will engage in a variety of service roles that support the department and align with the universitys mission.
A track record of securing or pursuing competitive research grants.
Ability to collaborate across disciplines within the university.
