PSEGoperates under a Flexible Work Model where flexible work is offered when job requirements allow. In support of this model roles have been categorized into one of four work location categories:

Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily.

Hybrid fixed are roles that are a blend of onsite work/inperson interactions with some ability to work remotely and require employees to live within a commutable distance and be onsite fixed days each week.

Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/inperson interactions on a regular basis require employees to live within a commutable distance and since business needs vary by position and may change over time managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.

Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely require employees to live in approved states and will have purposedriven inperson interactions on occasion.

Job Summary

The Director Corporate Security Programs is a direct report to the Vice President Corporate Security and Properties and serves as a member of the departments Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This position serves as a key advisor and operational support the departments Vice President overseeing the day to day operations of the security team crossfunctional initiatives projects and ensuring the smooth of security strategies across the organization including both physical and cyber security aspects while also facilitating communication with other departments and key internal/external stakeholders.

This position will have oversight of the following security programs and functions: Infrastructure & Assurance Security Command Center & Regulatory Operations Corporate Security Training WPV Prevention Security Risk Assessment NERC Access & Compliance Controls Computer Forensics & Litigation Support and intelligence reporting & analytics.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & :

  • Assist the CSO in developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies policies and procedures aligned with company goals industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Analyzing security risks identifying vulnerabilities and prioritizing mitigation plans
  • Managing security budgets and resource allocation

Operational Management:

  • Overseeing daytoday security operations including access control surveillance systems incident response and security awareness training.
  • Coordinating with various security teams (physical security cybersecurity investigations) to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitoring security performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement
  • Management of Corporate Security Vendors and contracted workforce

CrossFunctional Collaboration:

  • Acting as a liaison between the security team and other departments (HR IT facilities management legal) to address security concerns and coordinate initiatives
  • Communicating security policies and procedures to employees at all levels and ensuring timely and completion of required training
  • Facilitating collaboration on securityrelated projects with crossfunctional teams
  • Identify risks devise preventive measures and ensure compliance with relevant infrastructural and cybersecurity regulations

Project Management:

  • Leading the of security projects including implementation of new security technologies security upgrades and incident response drills
  • Managing project timelines budgets and deliverables

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Preparing regular security reports for senior leadership highlighting key security trends and risks
  • Analyzing security data to identify patterns and inform decisionmaking

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

  • Ensuring adherence to relevant security regulations and industry standards.
  • Managing security audits and assessments

Job Specific Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Business Criminal Justice or relevant field with at least 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices including physical security cybersecurity & data protection and risk management
  • Must be and maintain NERC CIP & 810 Compliance for this position
  • Knowledge of applicable laws regulations and industry standards related to infrastructure security in a regulated industry
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to convey complex security concepts to nontechnical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to access risks analyze complex security issues and develop appropriate solutions
  • Experience in security operations incident response or related field
  • Familiarity with relevant security regulations and compliance requirements and up to date knowledge of emerging security threats trends and technologies
  • Valid US drivers license as this position is required to travel to company locations as needed
  • A valid Real ID or an approved forms of alternate documentation is required for this job.Successful candidatemust provide appropriate documentation to meet access requirements within 30 days of hire.
