PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced Title Insurance Sales Representative with existing client relationships to join our Westcor family and assist with the operations in the MidAtlantic State Region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This assistance will include but not be limited to helping agency managers with:
Underwriting
Provide underwriting support; answer questions presented by agents either directly or through agency managers; provide memos regarding significant issues or changes in statespecific requirements or the industry and assist with claims as requested;
Assist with rates and forms filings for respective states monitor and report on regulatory issues and ensure compliance by Westcor and its agents with state and national regulations.
Assist with processing applications to determine all requirements have been met review the application and make recommendations regarding approval assist with and make recommendations concerning the revisions of the agency agreement or any addendums to agency agreements;
Sales Support
Travel with agency managers to visit agents and help to determine the needs of agents;
Rresent various and timely training seminars to agents relating to local and national real estate and title insurance issues;
Participate in the various state land title associations as necessary;
Assist with Corporate operations as follows:
Assist with rates and forms filings monitor and report on regulatory issues ensure compliance with state insurance statutes and regulations; monitor legislative and regulatory actions for changes affecting title insurance companies;
Assist with reinsurance treaties and contracts; assist with facultative reinsurance issues as needed;
Assist with revision of agency agreements as needed;
Assist claims counsel as needed;
Participate in State Land Title Association meetings as requested.
Agency Representative:
Define develop and administer sales and marketing initiatives in the designated market
Prepare annual marketing plan and budget for designated market
Build and maintain relationships with Title Agencies and Attorneys
Coordinate with the Education Department the implementation of seminars webinars and lunch and learns for Agents and their customer base
Participate in industry association and networking events
Proficient in and training customers on the Westcor website access
Use of Salesforce (CRM)
Remain current on industry news
Keep Agents informed on all industry news/changes
Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:
35 years experience in the title industry or related field or litigation experience
Basic Knowledge of real property and insurance law
