Field Service Technician Location: Upton MA with travel throughout the Northeast United States.

We are actively building a network of skilled and motivated Field Service Technicians to join our team. This ongoing job posting is designed to establish a robust pipeline of candidates for future opportunities.

The Field Service Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the maximum availability of natural gas engines and associated plant equipment through comprehensive maintenance troubleshooting and fault rectification.

Specific Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance troubleshooting and repairs to maximize the availability of gas engines and associated systems.

• Conduct scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and avoid unnecessary part replacements.

• Collect and dispatch oil samples as per established procedures.

• Select order and utilize parts efficiently minimizing waste and ensuring returns of unused components.

• Manage van stock accurately and maintain its condition.

• Document all service activities and complete reports in a timely and professional manner.

• Foster effective communication with team members customers and subcontractors onsite.

• Maintain high standards of site housekeeping and equipment presentation.

• Train and mentor apprentices or new team members as needed.

• Adhere to all Health Safety and Environmental regulations consistently.

Requirements:

• Experience with stationary R/ICE engines standby generators and related components is preferred.

• Knowledge of INNIO Jenbacher MAN Products and RNG equipment is beneficial but not essential.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical electrical and control systems including pumps throttles ignition systems and heat exchangers.

• Familiarity with ComAp controls MAN and Jenbacher engines and Yanmar Cogeneration systems is highly desirable.

• Strong IT skills to support diagnostic and troubleshooting tasks.

• Apprenticeserved technician with experience in natural gas engine operations.

• Reliable professional and committed to quality.

• Effective communication and relationshipbuilding skills.

• Adaptable and collaborative with strong time management and initiativetaking abilities.

• Commercial awareness with a focus on cost efficiency for Clarke Energy and its customers.

• Ability to perform under pressure and adhere to high standards of continuous improvement.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $3545 an hour. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience their education and the work location. Available benefits include medical dental vision & 401k.
