The Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) Supervisory Team Lead provides care to clients utilizing the Robert Young Center (RYC) principles of Trauma Informed Care. The LMHP Supervisory Team Lead provides clinical leadership and direction to the ACT Team. The LMHP Supervisory Team Lead delivers comprehensive community based mental health services and maintains accurate clinical documentation. Demonstrates Trinitys principles and values when interacting with clients families visitors physicians and coworkers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the multidisciplinary process on behalf of the individual consumer for an assigned group of Mental Health Professionals (MHP) and Qualified Mental Health Professionals and other ACT staff.
- Assigns referrals reviews clinical activities and may certify the diagnosis and recommended treatment plan.
- Assures the timely and accurate completion of treatment plans annual reassessments and daily progress notes.
- Ensures that all team members meet / exceed established productivity standards.
- Provides clinical supervision.
- Provides quantitative information about each ACT staff performance to the Manager for annual performance reviews.
- Completes mental health intakes for referrals as needed.
- Meets and provide supervision to ACT Team.
Qualifications
Education:
- Masters degree in a mental health field including but not limited to nursing social work mental health counseling psychiatric rehabilitation or psychology.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Fully/Independently licensed with the Iowa Department of Professional Regulation in one of the following Licensed Independent Social Worker Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with two years experience in a community mental health setting.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training within 6 months of hire.
- Must obtain license in secondary state within 6 months as required for position.
