Job Description
DoD SkillBridge Internship:Recruiting Assistant
Altimeter Solutions holds a Top Secret facility clearance and places contract and permanent technical resources with prime vendors for the DoD and other Federal government branches nationwide.
- Providing administrative support to business unit recruiting teams and back support to HR team when necessary
- Coordinating interviews and travel arrangements including associated expense processing
- Ensuring candidates hiring managers and recruiters needs are met during the interview process
- Organizing and distributing materials associated with the hiring process
- Initiating background checks
- Creating reports as necessary
- Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g. preparing documents coordinating orientation agendas verification of I9s)
- Assist with documentation related to recruiting
- Experience with MS Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience managing calendars scheduling meetings travel arrangement and expense reporting
- Experience working in a teamoriented environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/associates degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- Experience working in human resources and/or talent acquisition
- Experience with SuccessFactors applicant tracking systems or related talent acquisition tools highly preferred
- 2 years postSecondary/Associates
- Mentorship and guidance via weekly SkillBridge Intern Zoom Meetings.
- PM Fundamentals course Resume writing LinkedIn optimization and interview skills course.
- Other free resources including an electronic copy of How to Speak Civilian Fluently.
