We seek research assistants to provide research services within our dynamic team in the Project Air Strategy. The Strategy works extensively with Health Departments and other government and nongovernment partners. The demands of the position are dynamic and changing based on projects events training and research priorities. The project proposes to research new models of care and put in place training consultancy and support to mental health clinicians about the treatment of personality disorder. It also works with the community with consumers carers family members and employers to provide support and education about the disorder.
Project Air Strategy for Personality Disorders is a partnership between the University of Wollongong and NSW Health and other partners. It seeks to engage the community families carers consumers and health and drug and alcohol services and agencies to support better treatments for personality disorders.
As part of the team working on this project you will assist with team projects under supervision. The position may include interviews and consultation with people with lived experience of mental health conditions data entry and analysis work project management assistance library work and contribution to peer review publications. You will apply your relevant education to communicate with members of the public researchers clinicians and families. Importantly you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member in a demanding research environment.
