Medical TECHNOLOGISTS (MULTIPLE OPENINGS)
Saint Vincent Health Center seeks Medical Technologists (Multiple Openings) to work at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie PA and perform complex medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis treatment and prevention of disease. Duties include among others: (i) performing routine and complex procedures using established criteria to provide quality clinical information; (ii) verifying analytic accuracy precision sensitivity and linearity for clinical tests; and (iii) operating calibrating checking and maintaining laboratory instrumentation.
Must have a bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Medical Laboratory Science Biology or a directly related field.
Must also be able to work independently on afternoon and night shifts as well as possess an ICHP VisaScreen Certificate if applicable.
Must also have American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board Certification (COP) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist.
