Job Description
The Village of Elk Grove is pleased to announce the offering of a Summer Fire Seasonal Position. The Summer Fire Seasonal will have the opportunity to work with both Fire Administration and Fire Operations. Some of the typical tasks will include: ridealongs with firefighters assisting with paperwork community involvement etc.
Selection will be based on qualifications.
This position will work for the months of May August.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Graduate and currently enrolled in College
- Ability to work outdoors/all weather conditions
- A valid Illinois Drivers License and a Safe Driving Record
- Ability to work 5 days 40 hours per week
HOURS OF WORK:40 Hours / Week STARTING WAGE:$17.00/hour
