Senior Support Worker

This advert is for one full time Senior Support worker based atPinecroftGloucestershire

The salary for this role is 13175 per annum for21.22 hours per week

Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) and driving in the UK for the last 6 months isEssential for this role.

Ourresidentialservices provide accommodation and supportfor autistic adults 52 weeks a year 24 hours a day in urban and rural settings.

We are looking for aSenior Support Workerto join our friendly team at Pinecroft Residential Service Gloucestershire.

Pinecroft in Thornbury Gloucestershire is a large spacious residential home for four autistic people. Our focus is on supporting people to enhance their independent living skills before they move into their own flat or house into a supported living environment or into a residential placement.

Please note for this role you must be able to drive and have a car you can use while working.

Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families and will include evening and weekend working.

The role includes:

  • Helping individuals achieve independence and personal goals
  • Supporting and transporting individuals to integrate into their community
  • Develop individuals home making skills and personal chores
  • Transforming lives and achieving results for autistic adults

To protect our autistic adults all staff are required to have a criminal background check. Possession of an Enhanced DBS Check either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months would be preferable but not essential.
