Examples of Duties
Coral SpringsParkland Fire Department hires certified Firefighter/Paramedics (FF/PM). Fourth 4th) semester paramedics may apply however you must obtain your State of Florida Paramedic certification by June 30 2025. Candidates that have not yet received their State of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance may apply however you must obtain this certification by June 30 2025.
The CSPFD New Hire Assessment includes:- Swim Assessment
- Practical Exam in EMS & Fire Skills
The Coral SpringsParkland Fire Department only accepts a valid CPAT acquired from any National Testing Network. To register for the CPAT at a local facility such as Palm Beach State College please visit: questions in reference to obtaining your CPAT please contact Palm Beach State College ator.

- State of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance OR
- Letter from current school noting you are currently enrolled with a projected graduation date from the program*
- Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)
- CPAT (National) OREPAT
- CPAT scores must be valid between the dates of April 30 2024 April 30 2025. If you do not have a CPAT please check with Palm Beach State College for the next scheduled CPAT.
