Examples of Duties
About the Role
As the Environmental Compliance Supervisor you will:
- Oversee and implement environmental compliance programs to meet federal state and local regulations.
- Serve as a key liaison with regulatory agencies businesses and local government entities.
- Lead investigations of unusual wastewater discharges and ensure regulatory enforcement.
- Manage the City of Fremont Clean Water Program contract and other environmental initiatives.
- Provide leadership mentorship and technical guidance to your team.
- Prepare reports present findings and recommend policy updates to management and the Board of Directors.

Qualifications
What Were Looking For
Experience: At least five years in industrial waste inspection regulatory compliance or wastewater management including one year in a supervisory role.
Education: A Bachelors degree in Chemistry Environmental Science Environmental Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Skills: Strong leadership problemsolving and regulatory knowledge with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and agencies.
Passion: A commitment to environmental stewardship and public service.
