Job Description
Job Purpose:
Are you passionate about teaching and inspiring the next generation of learners We are seeking a dedicated and innovative English Lecturer to join our diverseteam. You will be responsible for delivering highquality education on a range of further and higher education courses developing specific subject areas and leading programmes of study.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and manage a variety of further education courses.
- Develop learning materials and mark student assignments.
- Lead and coordinate course teams and specific subject areas.
- Implement appropriate assessment methods to achieve learning goals.
- Provide student guidance counselling and support.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
- Participate in research consultancy activities and course verification.
- Recruit and select students meeting enrolment targets.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training.
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Appropriate teaching qualification or substantial industrial experience.
- Minimum of 23 years of experience in a lecturing or training role within the Further and Higher Education sector.
- Knowledge of innovative learning and teaching techniques.
- Understanding of internal quality processes and procedures.

- Customercentred approach with attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and discretion.
- Commitment to equality diversity health and safety and safeguarding policies.
