The Department
Alfred Health Pharmacy is well recognised for high quality and innovative patientfocused services education and training programmes as well as significant research service operates over 4 sites within Alfred Health and continually advocates for postgraduate learning and research interests with supportive partnerships and expert mentors available to foster staff development. The department also has a leading Digital Health strategy playing a pivotal role in managing the electronic medication management system within our comprehensive electronic medical record (Cerner) with an advanced level of integration linking this to the Pharmacy Dispensing (iPharmacy) and Automated Medication Storage systems (Omnicell). This is complemented by a strongclinical presence and a Centre for Medicine Use and Safety program to achieve a considered safe and financially responsible approach to medication management within Alfred Heath.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated first and second year pharmacy students to join the dynamic and progressive pharmacy department at Alfred Health. You will work across a variety of departments and campuses and gain experience in a diverse hospital pharmacy setting assisting with operational tasks such as dispensing sterile manufacturing stock management in the pharmacy store and on wards administrative tasks and other pharmacy technician duties as required.
