Defendant Insurance Associate or Senior Associate

About the role:
- Lead and manage complex insurance litigation matters including: workers compensation 60 CTP 30 and Dust Diseases 10.
- Advise a diverse client base including insurers brokers selfinsured entities and government agencies.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled team of lawyers and partners (team of approximately 18 legal professionals).
- Provide strategic advice on policy coverage risk management and dispute resolution.
- Mentor and support junior lawyers contributing to the teams development and success.
The ideal candidate:
- Senior Associate 5 PQE) with existing experience in defendant insurance law. Associate candidates are also encouraged to apply as well as candidates with plaintiff experience interested in transitioning into defendant.
- Proven ability to manage complex claims with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical skills in drafting legal documents advising on insurance policies and handling court proceedings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
