3 Key Consulting is hiring aScientist Senior Associatefor a consulting engagement with our direct client a leading global biopharmaceutical company.
Job Description: Seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate Scientist (SAS) to contribute to the discovery and validation of next generation of innovative oncology therapeutics. The SAS will be an integral member of a dynamic research team with an opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams within Amgens Discovery Research organization. The SAS is expected to make scientific laboratorybased contributions to the group goals present their results in internal forums and participate in the writing of manuscripts for publication.
Specific responsibilities include designing experimental strategy planning and performing laboratory experiments analyzing and interpreting data and communicating results in team meetings.
Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and 3 years of scientific experienceOR Bachelors degree and 5 years of scientific experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Training in cell biology biochemistry and molecular biology with a background in cancer biology.
A strong skillset in molecular biology techniques (e.g. qPCR si/shRNA) biochemical assays (e.g. immunoprecipitations western blotting) and cellular assays (e.g. cell culture reporter assays viability assays) is highly desirable.
Experience with target validation or supporting the early stages of drug discovery program.
Top Must Have Skills: Technical skills mentioned in the description. Motivated and willing to learn new things
Day to Day Responsibilities: Performing laboratory experiments analyzing and interpreting data and communicating / documenting results.
