The Role:
Were looking for a passionate and curious Associate Scientist of Purification Process Design join our team. What Youll Do:
Assist in development of purification processes for biotherapeutics manufacturing
Assist in the transfer of processes to clinical and commercial manufacturing facilities
Technology development to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of purification processes
Who You Are:
BS in Engineering Biochemistry or related field with 0-3 years of industry relevant experience.
Knowledgeable in chromatography and filtration theory downstream development buffer compounding and scale-up strategy
Excellent experimental design and analysis skills
Experience with Microsoft Office apps (Word PowerPoint Excel)
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with chromatography operations including using AKTA systems
Experience with filtration operation including executing bench-scale dead-end filtration viral filtration UF/DF and depth filtration
Experience with design of experiments (DOE) and analysis using statistical software packages (JMP MATLAB etc.)
Experience with automation method development and operation using robotic liquid handling systems and high throughput chromatography resin screening
Experience with multi column chromatography
Experience with process modeling and chromatography mechanistic modeling
Experience with continuous and connected processing

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $78000 to $82000; Base salary offered may vary depending on the individuals skills experience and competitive market value.
