Your Role
At MilliporeSigma an exciting opportunity now exists to be a member of a critical Life Science manufacturing facility. In this role you will assist and lead the research and troubleshooting of defective products in order to identify potential root cause failure. You will identify key process parameters definetheir impact on product quality and subsequentlydevelop and modify formulations methods and controls to meet quality specifications. Your processing insights will be used torecommend and implement improvements modifications or additions to document work. Additionally you will support the maintenance of production records and documents.
The facility is highly teamoriented so the opportunity exists toattend and/or lead crossfunctional meetings with R&D Engineering and Operations teams. You willwork with outside contractors and other vendors to manage changes to site automation systems this role you will maintain and adhere to project timelines/schedule and cost.
Who you Are
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Biochemistry Biology Chemical Engineering or another Life Science discipline
- 2 years of experience with Siemens PCS7 software and/or Rockwell Automation software & hardware
- 2 years of experience in chemical life science pharma or food manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in process engineering with basic laboratory skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication and technical skills
- Solid understanding of cGMPs and ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 quality systems
- Validation experience
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt trained
