The role of Systems Analyst 2 is to maintain data integrity and ensure the smooth operation of the Enterprise Application systems and integrations with thirdparty applications. This position will collaborate closely with endusers monitor business processes and offer innovative solutions to enhance administrative functions that support students faculty staff alumni and the institutions broader objectives. The Systems Analyst 2 will contribute to the overall business improvement process exhibit excellent troubleshooting diagnostic and decisionmaking skills and possess a thorough understanding of programming database and API concepts and design.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining data integrity to ensure efficient Enterprise Application operations and integrations with thirdparty systems; close collaboration with endusers to gather requirements design test and implement computer information systems software applications integrations reports dashboards and process improvements that support the institutions goals; monitoring and assessing the quality of technical and functional business processes identify datarelated issues and provide effective resolutions; conducting feasibility studies of programming requests and provide technical guidance to customers on programming issues; assisting operations staff in troubleshooting and resolving systemrelated problems; coordinating the installation of patches and upgrades in collaboration with database administrators system support teams and functional users; maintaining expertise in the institutions enterprise applications SQL reporting techniques and relevant business procedures; serving as a knowledgeable resource to guide and train other Systems Analysts on business processes data usage system integration and crosssystem dependencies; acting as a liaison between technical teams and user departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration; and contributing continuously to business improvement positions primary responsibilities will include providing technical support to the Financial Aid office and Banner Document Management.
Bachelors degree in computer science information systems or related field required.
Four 4 years progressively responsible full time experience as a programmer/analyst or equivalent required.
Six 6 years of progressively responsible fulltime experience as a programmer/analyst or equivalent. Experience working in higher education administrative programming. Experience providing technical support to Ellucian Banner. Experience providing technical support to Oracle ERP HCM and EPM Cloud Applications.
