What Youll Do
As Vice President ofInternal Audit you will lead and continuously improve SharkNinjas Internal Audit Program to support a public company controls environment. Youwill oversee the annual Audit Plan with a focus on Financial Operational Compliance and Strategic risks including a focus around SarbanesOxley (SOX) compliance.
Some other key responsibilities include:
- Build and manage a flexible riskbased global internal audit strategy
- Lead and develop a team responsible for the design and implementation of detailed test plans that assess the current control environment and identify areas of control weakness / gaps for the internal audit plan including SOX initiatives.
- Work closely with the Companys external auditors including coordinating the annual riskbased audit plan and SOX initiatives with the objective of increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the audit function by maintaining or exceeding the current level of external auditor reliance.
- Lead and develop the Companys Enterprise Risk Management program; develop a risk framework for Management and Board review; partner with the Executive Leadership Team and their respective functions to deliver risk operating plans to mitigate the risks and impact.

What Youll Bring
You are an experienced internal audit professional who has served in leadership roles within largescale and complex internal audit departments and possesses strong audit experience across financial operational and IT areas. You should also be able to articulate thoughts clearly plan initiatives and execute flawlessly with appropriate urgency. Youwill display intellectual curiosity to understand business operations critical growth drivers and the evolving industry landscape. You are a highly nimble leader with the intelligence maturity and the drive necessary to operate in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Other competencies include:
- Strong technical U.S. GAAP accounting / reporting knowledge
- Demonstrated expertise in identification and implementation of internal controls; formal SOX experience is required
- Sophisticated knowledge of business operations systems; an innovative and intellectually curious mindset bringing in leading practices on tools and methods to automate existing controls
- Executive presence an ability to tailor communication style to audiences at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to set and manage multiple constantly changing and sometimes conflicting priorities in a dynamic paced environment relentless detail orientation ability to work on tight timelines commitment to meeting deadlines
- Bachelors Degree or above in Accounting or Finance is required
- CPA preferred; CIA or related certification / equivalent experience is a plus.
