2/3 days onsite in Central NJ Office
This is a permanent FT career opportunity with base salary range 130 145K DOE plus about 1520 bonus and great benefits package.
Tidal Automation Engineer
The ideal candidate will possess handson experience with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler coupled with a strong understanding of general IT principles and expertise in Windows and Linux environments. As a Tidal Enterprise Scheduler Administrator you will be responsible for the implementation configuration maintenance and troubleshooting of Tidal Enterprise Scheduler to ensure smooth and efficient job scheduling across our enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Install configure and upgrade Tidal Enterprise Scheduler software in Windows and Linux environments.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather job scheduling requirements and design efficient workflows.
- Develop and maintain job schedules calendars and dependencies within Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
- Monitor job troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve any scheduling failures.
- Coordinate and execute backup and recovery strategies for Tidal Enterprise Scheduler components.
- Collaborate with system administrators to ensure optimal performance and availability of Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
- Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and best practices related to job scheduling and automation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to endusers including training and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Tidal Enterprise Scheduler Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Tidal Enterprise Scheduler architecture configuration and administration.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with job scheduling concepts dependencies and workload automation.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure networking and security principles.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Tidal Certified Professional) will be a plus.
