Job Description
We have a fulltime 1st shift Heavy Equipment Shop Technician position available at our Ft Worth Texas location. The hours of the position are Monday Friday 7 AM 4 position is responsible for providing highquality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment in order to respond to customer needs in a positive caring and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed.
Job Description :This position is responsible for providing highquality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment in order to respond to customer needs in a positive caring and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
- At least 3 years of field or shop service experience troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as skid steers mini excavators backhoes frontend loaders excavators etc.
- Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps hydraulic engine transmissions HVAC and electrical issues and repairs.
- GED or High School Diploma preferred
- Diesel Tech Schooling is highly preferred
- Must have steady employment.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license.
Ability to frequently reach bend walk etc.
- Must be able to lift 50# approximately5 times a day.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Excellent attendance is required.
- Must be able to work MonFriday; 7 AM4 PM.
- Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Must have own tools.
