The Battle & Online Products organization is home to 300 superpowered engineers product managers and designers focused on the technology that powers Blizzard Entertainments games. Whether youreplaying one of our titles chatting with friends or just shopping online B&OP ensures that our players are immersed in engaging exciting and secure experiences.
The Identity team at Battle provides highend critical services to millions of active users worldwide in a crossplatform environment ranging from authentication to security measures and Battle Identity Management. This role will work with customers inside and outside of Blizzard to identify problems determine goals propose solutions and drive alignment on specifications and ultimately deliver high quality projects.
Our ideal candidate is a product manager with experience managing successful complex software projects possesses a highly organized and technical skillset and has the ability to drive consensus among diverse teams of people.
This role is anticipated to be either an onsite or hybrid position based in Irvine CA.
Responsibilities
Create detailed customer requirements in both Epic and User Stories schedule release timelines and manage sprints appropriately.
Collaborate across product engineering and QA teams to ensure feature launches deliver high value and end to end functionality to our players.
Own and manage feature documentation working closely with support personnel to enable selfservice support.
Champion evidencebased decision making and strong communication skills.
Manage and prioritize the backlog while monitoring and improving team velocity.
Work closely with team members to ensure we are delivering the right solution at the right time.
Requirements
A minimum 2 years of experience in product management or similar responsibilities.
Unrelenting selfmotivation and initiative in previous roles; ability to work with team members to drive elegant solutions for complex problems on tight timelines.
Proven understanding of complex backend systems and microfrontend applications.
Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills. Comfortable giving presentations to large groups and senior management.
Ability to deeply understand the technical capabilities of the product to independently assess viability of new features and what is feasible within budget.
Demonstrated success in building and managing roadmaps.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Managing account creation and login preferably for a game or platform

You can learn more by visiting the U.S. the standard base pay range for this role is $29.81 $55.14 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately your specific range and offer will be based on several factors including relevant experience performance and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this roles range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates new hire compensation is negotiable.
