The College comprises 17 academic units including two schools seven departments and eight interdisciplinary programs as well as 15 research centers and institutes. Responsibilities
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Administration and Finance the Associate Director of Finance and Operations will be a member of the Deans Office Shared Services group supporting one or more units in the college. Initially the Associate Director will serve in a senior management position assisting the director of the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs in implementing strategic and programmatic decisions and overseeing the Schools Administrative Assistant. The role serves as the Policy Schools primary finance contact with strategic planning management and advisory responsibilities in finance and budgeting human resources development initiatives and budgetcentered curriculum planning. Responsibilities include maintaining university standards and policies to help ensure optimal compliance and recordkeeping.
The Associate Director must demonstrate the ability to operate in fastpaced changing and collaborative environment across the various units of the College and the University.
