Davenport Community School District is currently hiring substitute teachers for theschool year

To substitute teach in the State of Iowa you must hold a current Iowa Teaching License Iowa Substitute Teaching License or Iowa Substitute Authorization License.

Current Iowa Teaching License Iowa Substitute Teaching License or Iowa Substitute Authorization License
Current Iowa Mandatory Reporter Child Abuse certificate
Current Iowa Mandatory Reporter: Dependent Adult Abuse certificate

202425Pay Rates:

Base Rate $132/full day $66/half day
Long Term Rate 20 or more consecutive days for same classroom) $177/full day $88.50/half day
Retired Teacher rate $177/full day $88.50/half day

Must be willing to support and implement Davenports multitiered system of supports (MTSS) for both behavior and academics.
