Other Conditions: For placement in lecturer pool beginning Fall 2024 Spring 2025 and Summer 2025. Positions are parttime temporary nontenure and contingent upon course offerings sufficient student enrollment position clearance and availability of funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day evening and/or via distance learning as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses in Mathematics or Statistics.
- Maintain a minimum of 2 office hours per week for each course taught up to 5 office hours per week.
- Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree in relevant discipline for lecturers in Mathematics or Statistics.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
Desirable Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated highquality instruction and teaching effectiveness at the college level.
