Know Your Rights: Notice for California Applicants: Unit Supervisor provides operational support to the department and leadership by performing various business functions. These functions are to include but not limited to medical records documentation charges/billing clinical logs surgical scheduling implant records data reporting timekeeping and other duties as assigned. Responsible for direct supervision of nonclinical personnel as assigned. The Unit Supervisor will provide direct communication with the Nurse Director and Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required
  2. One to two years experience as a supervisor in an acute care facility preferred.
  3. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  4. Working knowledge of computer systems equipment and processes commonly performed within the surgical Business Office area.
  5. Effective written verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to multitask prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
  7. Analytical and problemsolving skills.
  8. Customer Services experience required.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role which includes estimated wages benefits and other forms of compensation is $44.31. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
