The Position:
We are seeking a fulltime Clinical Therapist for our Palmdale site to provide comprehensive outpatient treatment services to children adolescents and their families in the office community and schoolbased settings.
What Youll Do
- Conducts intakes provides individual group and family therapy services in the public school office based and community settings. Services include initial clinical assessments diagnosis clinical treatment planning and implementation referral and termination.
- Handles crisis situations including outside of normal work hours.
- Follows CFGC and coinciding school districts reporting protocols.
- Conducts parent education programs and family support groups.
- Maintains clinical charts and completes program paperwork.
- Collaborates and consults with school personnel which includes teachers counselors and administrators.
- Participates in supervision meetings and trainings related to position and services provided including evidencebased practice trainings boosters and consultations assigned.
- Hours: Fulltime 40 hours) Monday Friday 2 evenings per week until 8:00pm are required.
- This position is fully onsite for the first four months. Hybrid work options are available after successful completion of four months of employment
Starting Salary:
- A.M.F.T. A.C.S.W. and A.P.C.C. $70000
- L.M.F.T. L.C.S.W. and L.P.C.C. $72000 $77000
- Waivered Psychologist: $78000
- Licensed Psychologist: $80000 $86000
- Additional years of experience will be considered as well
- $3000 differential available for bilingual SpanishEnglish proficiency (must pass Spanish Proficiency Assessment to qualify)
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Relevant experience working with children and families.
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
- Knowledge of evidencebased child and family interventions relevant to families served in the community mental health settings.
- Ability to develop reasonable appropriate treatment plans and clinical programs to meet the needs of the clients.
- Ph.D. Psy.D. MSW or MA/MS with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. Must be eligible to register with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences.
