POSITION SUMMARY: The Department of Biological Sciences at Moravian University invites applications for an adjunct (parttime) faculty pool. Our need for parttime instructors varies semester to semester. When a position becomes available we will invite qualified applicants from this pool to interview and/or submit additional information. We occasionally have the following teaching needs:
- A firstyear bioscience seminar 0.5 unit course focused on scientific literacy and career preparation)
- A 100level introductory biology course (lecture and/or lab)
- A 200 or 300 level biology elective (lecture and lab) in an area of the applicants expertise
- A 300level writingintensive seminar in an area of the applicants expertise
Teaching will be fully inperson on our main (North) campus in Bethlehem PA.
The Department of Biological Sciences values active studentcentered approaches to learning as well as inquirybased labs that teach authentic skills. We invite applications from colleagues who share these goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum: MS in biology or a broadly related biological science
- Preferred: PhD (or ABD) in biology or a broadly related biological science with successful teaching experience beyond the TA level
