Position Description
Position Overview:
Under general supervision responsible for the daytoday management of the core Asset Management team including staffing budgeting and other relevant management functions required to hold all IT and business stakeholders accountable for optimizing the cost risk and value of assets throughout their life cycle. Create and maintain an efficient customerfocused enterprise asset life cycle that supports accurate and streamline processes.
Job Duties:
Ensure that appropriate resources (people tools services) and processes are in place to gather and analyze data relating to digital technology asset life cycles and related processes.
Assist leadership in developing effective AM strategies policy approaches and practices across the full range of digital technology assets used within the organization.
Identify and report on breaches of AM policy and track remedial action.
Report on (or develop reporting on) remediation of digital technology assetrelated risks and progress of optimization activity.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting and that data completeness and quality issues are quickly identified and escalated to the responsible data or process owners.
Gather data on and provide analysis of all activities that have an impact on the value cost and risk of digital technology asset life cycles.
Provide finance with the data to support the analysis of digital technology asset project and maintenance budgets and business cases.
Assign responsibilities for subdisciplines such as software asset management (SAM) hardware asset management (HAM) and IT asset disposition (ITAD).
Ensure that AMrelated tools and services are properly evaluated selected implemented configured and maintained with appropriate integration with other sources of organizational data.
Supervise the departments response to software vendor license compliance audits or license validation requests in consultation with the relevant vendor and procurement analysts software asset analysts and other responsible.
Optimize and monitor the flow of goods in and out of the asset warehouse by tracking inventory levels maintaining safety standards and ensuring warehouse space efficiency.
Manages and mentors asset management staff

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Finance IT Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of two 2 years of related experience in Business Administration Finance IT Engineering or a related field.
OR
Four 4 years of related experience with High School diploma or GED may be substituted for Business Administration Finance IT Engineering or a related field.
OR
An Associates degree in Business Administration Finance IT Engineering or a related field or a closely related field and two 2 years of related experience may substitute for the education requirement.
OR
A Masters degree in a field directly related to the job may be substituted for the above experience requirement.
Knowledge Skill & Abilities (KSAs):
Asset life cycle management (whether digital technology information financial or physical assets) best practice and governance.
Digital technology asset life cycle management processes and supporting tools and services.
Policy and process development and implementation.
Technology contracts and their likely cost implications through the technology asset life cycle.
Engagement with procurement and auditors for additional information.
IT applications operations service and support organizations.
Data processing analysis and quality management tools.
Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff business stakeholders and senior management.
Strong knowledge of personal computers and various programs such as but not limited to Excel Microsoft Office Suite QuickBase Visio.
Strong organizational skills the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
Proficiency in process formulation and improvement.

Experience:
Demonstrated experience in using PeopleSoft and ServiceNow
Membership of professional organizations trade or user groups and a pattern of regular attendance at industry conferences to enhance knowledge of current technology
General Information
Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:
Monday Friday 40Hrs
OnSite Position
May be required to work more than forty hours during the workweek and/or weekends or oncall 24 hours a day to meet special projects or deadlines.
Subject to performing other duties as assigned

Salary:
Depends on Qualifications.
Based on 26Pay Periods
