PRIMARY DUTY: The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Northwest Missouri State University is seeking candidates to create a pool of applicants who can serve as Adjunct Faculty in our online Criminology program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Masters degree in Criminology or related discipline
Experience: Prior experience in online instruction in Criminology or related discipline
Skills: Demonstrated innovative teaching methodologies to engage learners; instructional technology skills; interpersonal skills including oral communication and collaboration; committed to a focus on student success
WORKING CONDITIONS: The position entails online instruction in Criminology courses typically ranging from 15 to 30 students. Faculty maintain regular virtual office hours to support students.
