Job Description
As a temporary assistant coach your responsibilities will be dependent on coaching area. A basic list of responsibilities includes:
- Providing team and oneonone student athlete coaching at team practices games and other team events
- Assisting head coach and student athletes
- Assisting student athletes with athletic and academic affairs
- Assisting with scheduling
- Managing and completing office duties related to team such as general correspondence and emails
- Participating in coaches meetings Athletic Department meetings and other committees
- Bachelors degree or equivalent education/experience
- Working knowledge of the rules and regulations of sport in which applying
- Excellent communication skills including written
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team while managing multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to provide effective leadership to student athletes to encourage both successful academic development and competitive performance

- Knowledge of NCAA Division II policies and ability to quickly learn GNAC policies
