We are seeking a skilled RADAR Software Development Engineer I with a focus on developing complex RADAR systems in C/C. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating highperformance applications and will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
You will work in Pelham New Hampshire as part of the Patriot RADAR Software Team.
What You Will Do
Participate in the requirements design development and testing of realtime embedded software application software and tools to include development of the new SW work products and enhancement of existing applications and systems to meet program needs.
Design code test integrate and document software solutions.
Participate in internal review of software components and systems.
Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.
This position requires onsite presence and extensive interaction with other groups including Systems Design engineering System Integration and Test Hardware design Engineering and the Software Development Team.
Travel between Raytheon sites in Tewksbury MA Andover MA and Pelham NH.
Occasional travel White Sands Missile Range (El Paso Tx) may be required
Off hours testing 2nd or 3rd shift) occasionally may also be required.
Qualifications You Must Have
Requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
Experience with C C Java or similar higher level programming language.
Experience in a Unix/Linux operating system.
The ability to obtain and maintain an interim secret U.S. security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Active Secret security clearance.
Strong understanding of data structures algorithms and software design principles particularly in highconcurrency and distributed systems.
Sound understanding in embedded systems realtime systems or largescale applications.
Sound understanding with multithreading memory management and performance optimization in complex environments.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge in Digital Signal Processing Design.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git/Clearcase).
Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile Scrum etc..

The salary range for this role is 55000 USD 107000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
