Sonographer (Bank)

Bank Shifts
Salary: Up to 45.00 per hour
We have an opportunity for a Sonographer to join their team of staff in the Imaging department who is available to work either Monday Wednesday or Friday 9.3017:00. Ideally available for ad hoc Saturday shifts at Saturday enhancement.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Current HCPCRegistration
- Minimum 2 years Ultrasound experience within the NHS
- Experience in performing/reporting the following sonographic examinations: Abdominal Renal Gynaecology (Transvaginal Transabdominal)
- Experience in Gynae required
Duties of this role include:
- To actively participate in the efficient and safe operation of the Imaging Department providing a consistent high quality ultrasound service to all patients
- To carry out diagnostic ultrasound scans within their scope of competence as agreed with the Clinical Services Manager Imaging / Clinical Lead to high technical and quality standards.
- Manage the designated working area and ensure that it is tidy clean and efficiently run.
- Use initiative to prioritise deliver and timemanage workload effectively.
- As requested assist clinical modality leads to plan and maintain an effective work flow within the department.
