SUMMARY: While delivering innovative solutions exceptional service and trusted results the Outreach Specialist provides outreach services to customers and assesses employment needs and assist with the scheduling organizing and maintenance of career services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with career services to assist with greeting new and returning customers;
- Perform outreach via phone/home visits/email;
- Provide weekly home/employment visits to customers to increase customer engagement;
- Schedule/plan monthly networking night and ensure customer involvement;
- Perform weekly time sheets audits for retention and active caseloads.
- Responsible for reengaging those Customers who were engaged but who subsequently terminated participation.
- Actively share information about outreach and engagement efforts with Case Managers.
- Inform Case Managers of any barriers identified that routinely prevent the Customer from engaging fully with the Provider.
- Work independently with strong sense of focus taskoriented nonjudgmental open personal qualities and clear sense of boundaries.
- Energetic resilient and outcome driven; ability to perform and maintain outcomes within a fastpaced environment.

- Travel and conduct site visits at customers home employment and work experience site. May conduct outreach at community access such as libraries.

- Associates degree or related experience working in an office setting;
- Experience working in an outcomedriven environment with disadvantaged populations preferred;

- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and exercise good judgement and discretion;
- Must be goaloriented with proven track record of success with performance goals;
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Personal computer literacy required including effective use of the Internet email and Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Outlook). Ability to meet and/or exceed set goals and objectives. Excellent interpersonal time management customer service organizational skills and communication skills both oral and written required.
