A faculty member will be the instructor of record. The majority of the graduate teaching assistants duties are in support of instruction including but not limited to the responsibilities below:
1. Grading/monitoring discussion forum posts
2. Grading/overseeing weekly participation
3. Literature reviews
4. Assisting a faculty member with teachingrelated tasks
5. Grading student assignments which may require knowledge of subjects taught in a class or laboratory
6. May meet with and/or tutor students
7. Prepare instructional materials and assist during class and/or lab etc.
8. Material preparation
$737 $1473 per month
1. Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook which can be found at Must be a degree seeking graduate student at Illinois State University in the Special Education program.
Hours will be determined by scheduling needs of faculty.

Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of oncampus employment for all positions held.
