ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. As part of this contract Serco in partnership with Bupa provide defenceready clinical and support staff across 50 onbase locations nationally ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality onsite medical care. In this role you will work as a part of a multidisciplinary team within a health centre setting supporting the diverse mental health needs of military members. Referrals will come from a variety of sources; the member medical team and Command offering diversity in presentations and support requests. The support you will offer begins with initial intake and assessment with flexibility to accommodate presenting need. There is scope for the use of psychometrics and engagement in treatment that capitalises on your skills interests and scope of practice. You will have autonomy to manage your caseload including oversight and case management of externally referred cases and the provision of internal treatment to Defence members. Additionally your management of crisis presentations risk assessment and risk management planning is supported within a multidisciplinary team.

About Albatross
The Albatross Health Centre is located at Nowra on the South Coast of NSW approximately 2.5 hours from Sydney CBD. HMAS Albatross is the largest operational naval establishment in Australia and the Navys only air station. The Health Centre provides primary medical dental mental health physiotherapy nursing and pharmaceutical services to up to 1500 ADF members. Standard hours of operation are generallyMondayFriday with medical officers oncall for aviation retrievals
