Senior Data Analytics Business Partner in Healthcare

Your role

EMD Seronois going through an innovative data driven transformation. We are looking for an energetic individual with high business acumen to partner with specific business areas to answer business problems using data analytics. As the key business data analytics partner youll be embedded in an exciting and agile business environment with an opportunity to transform our commercial oncology business by generating impactful data derived insights. Youll be working closely with business experts other data analysts data scientists and data engineers. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about using their business acumen and deep technical expertise in data analytics to unearth nuggets of information to propel the business forward.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a data analytics partner to the oncology business area
• Translate business questions into data analytics problems
• Visualize and structure complex data for concise clear delivery of highly relevant insights
• Quickly transform real world data to actionable information using sound data analytics techniques
• Apply rigorous statistical data analysis techniques to a broad range of syndicated and publicly available data sources to test hypothesis to inform commercial activities across multiple personal and nonpersonal marketing channel
• Extract highly relevant summary statistics from complex datasets using data manipulation fuzzy matching complex join operations and statistical techniques to describe evolving market dynamics and measure KPIs
• Effectively communicate findings to business partners

Who you are

Minimum qualifications:

• Masters in Mathematics Computer Science Engineering Statistics or other quantitative areas with outstanding credentials
• A generalist with strong foundation in applied mathematics computing and big data analytics
• Proven track record of excellence in data analytics
• At least 12 years of work experience in an advanced analytics role in a quantitative industry and/or business sector is preferred
• Advanced data engineering and visual data analytics skills using Tableau SQL and Excel
• Ability to augment strong Tableau SQL and Excel skills with new analytical tools and multiple programming languages such as Python and R
• Experience in or capacity to learn AWS data engineering tools such as Athena is a plus
• Experience in engineering features/predictors relevant for sales and marketing
• Strong grasp of techniques such as hypothesis testing high dimensional statistical modeling Bayesian inference and time series analysis
• Good understanding on foundations of machine learning and AI is a plus
• Refined communication and presentation skills
• Ability to use appropriate tools and data to get the job done
• You are driven focused and require minimal daytoday guidance

• You are a quick learner and youll figure out a way to get the job done no matter what
• You never report results before thorough validation
