Job Description
Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of more than three thousand satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast affordable broadband to a wide range of customers including consumers businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
Work with multiple software teams to manage their test automation needs under the ZeroTouch framework
Manage regression test automation of Payload features
Possess a strong program management background have experience leading large/complex/crossorg projects and have a wellrounded technical background.
Drive project schedules from design to release managing the production launch for a product/feature and using metrics to provide status along the way.
Relentlessly simplify and demonstrate significant innovation creativity and good judgment when solving challenging problems
Drive best practices on the team deal with ambiguity and competing objectives and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks
Write effective narratives and present them concisely and effectively to senior management
Develop program and team processes and tools as required
5 years of technical product or program management experience
7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
