Overview of role
As a Key Account Manager within OMDIA you will be primarily responsible for bringing in net new business within an existing set of Key Accounts 1025 accounts). You will work as part of an account team thatll also include a Subscription Account Manager (responsible for renewals) a Customer Success representative (responsible for growing client usage and satisfaction) and an SDR (responsible for generating new business leads within your accounts)
Areas of Responsibility and Accountability
- Develops strategies approaches and plans (account plans and sector plans) for future growth and communicates those with passion and energy to future and existing clients
- Meeting achievable weekly KPIs to ensure a disciplined approach to pipeline growth and maintenance
- Achieving monthly and annual new business sales targets
- Identifying and engaging with new and existing prospects to gain understanding of their specific challenges
- Proactively responding to inbound inquiries and selfgenerated leads based on a deep market and product understanding
- Reporting accurate forecasting and performance metrics to key internal and external stakeholders highlighting revenue risks and opportunities
- Working with the wider Omdia analyst and consulting teams to ensure that clients are delighted with the service they receive
- Working collaboratively with other Informa TechTarget sales team to position larger unified solutions to your customers
- Travelling as needed to meet face to face with customers and prospects
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Proven track record in new business development with the ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximize product potential
- Demonstrable experience as a topperforming individual contributor in a solutionsbased B2B environment
- Strong team player mentality able to collaborate effectively within a sales team beyond individual needs
- Working knowledge of the technology media and telecommunications (TMT) marketplace and the business models within it
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience selling technology market intelligence or consulting services
- Experience selling into industries such as:
- Electronics
- Semiconductors
- Telco Vendors
- Physical Security
- IoT
- Manufacturing Technology

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technological concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and client needs
- Experience with CRM systems and sales automation tools
- Ability to build and maintain longterm client relationships
- Adaptability to rapidly changing technology landscapes and market conditions
- Selfmotivated with a resultsdriven approach to meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in creating and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals
