Job Description

Quality Control:

  • Take and upload loading photos per SIRIM requirements
  • Take and upload preloading photos per SIRIM requirements
  • Photo document problem loads as needed: damaged or contaminated cargo
  • Perform moisture testing on loads and yard inventory as needed

Traffic Control:

  • Assist in directing yard traffic
  • Check inbound trailers deliveries for proper paperwork
  • Coordinate with office for trucks authorized to enter the yard
  • Stage and assign inbound trailers for docking
  • Notify the trailers when their offload is complete
  • Inspect inbound empty containers for damage/roadability
  • Report and photo document damaged empty containers delivered to the yard

Qualifications :

This Position Requires: 

  • Skill in effective written and verbal communication as well as dealing diplomatically with the public and fellow employees.
  • The ability to constantly walk and use both arms and legs for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather
  • The ability to acquire a valid California Drivers License by date of appointment.
  • Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as assigned.
  • Experience directing traffic is desirable but not a requirement.


Additional Information :

Base pay is between $18$19/hour DOE.
