Job Description
Job DescriptionMiles River Middle School is looking for a highly motivated studentcentered 6th grade middle school Math & Science teacher to start August 25 2025. The candidate should have a solid understanding of Massachusetts Science Standards as they align and correspond to current state frameworks. The candidate will work closely with 68th grade math and science teachers and the math and science curriculum leaders in order to implement and refine a schoolwide science curriculum sequence. The teacher will engage students in a welcoming classroom environment that includes inclusive practices development of analytical thinking skills and experimentation as a way to develop their understanding of the world around we are seeking a candidate who builds relationships with students families and peers; is flexible is comfortable working in a team setting believes in instilling a love for science in all of their students and is interested in using technology to enhance student learning.
