IQVIA is expanding its team and seeking aMedical Science Liaison (MSL)based inBelgiumto coverBelgium Netherlands Switzerland and the Nordics. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead as aCountry Medical Lead contributing to the medical strategy and growth in multiple countries. Career growth opportunities await you!
Job Overview:In this role you will:
- Engage with customers across multiple countries through scientific discussions presentations and education.
- Provide medical information and responses to complex medical questions from clinicians.
- Offer internal scientific support and training serving as an expert resource for colleagues.
- Coordinate scientific education activities and participate in events such as Advisory Boards and congresses.
- Support investigators and interact with scientific societies and patient groups.
- Collect and report relevant information to the company such as competitor information and treatment patterns.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of the Country Medical Plan.
- Gather and report medical and congress intelligence.
- Develop local publications and maintain monthly contact with the Medical Director and HQ Medical team.
- Identify and develop KOLs providing educational and scientific support as needed.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with the Commercial Department and Country Managers.
Qualifications:
- Scientific degree (PhD PharmD MD MSc etc..
- Pharmaceutical industry experience as an MSL in the specified regions.
- Experience in one or more of the following therapy areas: Haematology Nephrology Rare Diseases Immunology Oncology Endocrinology Orthopaedics or Rheumatology; Biosimilars experience strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and at least one other relevant language.
- Based in Belgium with a full driving license and willingness to travel across the specified regions.
