Job Description
As a Back Title Policy Researcher you ll investigate property ownership history review legal documents like deeds mortgages and tax liens and identify any claims or disputes. Your detailed reports will help title companies lenders and real estate professionals ensure titles are legally clear before property sales or transfers.

Shift: Night Shift (Monday Friday 9:00 PM 6:00 AM) Weekends Off

Your Daily Tasks
- Conduct thorough back title policy searches to support new title issuance
- Review historical property records spanning 30 years or more to identify past issues
- Investigate liens judgments mortgages tax issues and ownership disputes
- Detect and help prevent title defects that could affect ownership transfers
- Support title insurers in evaluating risk for issuing clean title policies
- Identify unresolved claims or complications that may impact the closing process
- Compile detailed accurate reports outlining findings and legal/document history
- Locate existing title insurance policies issued during prior purchases or refinances
- Ensure that all title data supports a clear and insurable property transfer
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in English; familiarity with real estate industry terminology is a plus
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (email documents spreadsheets)
- Ability to understand and apply company guidelines accurately to all tasks
- Strong data entry and data management skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and follow established workflows
- Capability to monitor progress report task completion and escalate issues when necessary
- Research skills and adaptability in learning new systems to improve efficiency
- Ability to prioritize straightforward tasks first and reserve complex ones for later completion
