Job Description
A mortgage loan officer guides mortgage applicants and borrowers through themortgage approval process from preparing the loan application through closing. MLOs are licensed by state and national authorities and theyre knowledgeable about all the different types of mortgages.

- 8:00 am 5:00 pm Monday Friday; overtime and weekends based on loan volume
- Fulltime: 40 hours per week average
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred
- One to three years of prior experience in lending or related field preferred
- Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
- Strong mathematical problemsolving and computer skills
- Basic knowledge of banking operations documentation policy and procedures
- Effective multitasking and organizational skills
- Thorough understanding of Federal Housing Authority (FHA) Veterans Affairs (VA) Federal National Mortgage (Fannie Mae) and other types of construction and conventional loans.
- Willingness to proactively crosssell bank products & services
