The University of Hawaii at Manoa William S. Richardson School of Law seeks to fill several faculty positions. We are seeking to fill a tenuretrack Assistant Professor F39 with expertise in Environmental Law. We welcome candidates who in addition to the primary field have expertise in Asian Legal Studies Business Law Family Law Health Law Native Hawaiian Law Pacific Island Legal Systems or Professional Responsibility. MinimumQualifications:
ForF3 candidates: An outstanding record of academic and/or professional achievement a Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and a potential for excellence in teaching scholarship and public service.
Desirable Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with our students staff faculty alumni government officials community members and members of the bar and to thrive in multicultural and multidisciplinary contexts.
Demonstrated interest in teaching scholarship and/or service that benefits our student population.
Experience in and commitment to teaching law effectively in a variety of modalities including inperson online and hybrid.
