Job Description

Location:Aberdeen SD
Minimum Salary: $15.34

Description:
Assist in Habitat Related activities managing grasslands forested areas food plots public use facilities and water systems.
General Requirements:
Incumbent will need to acquire a Class A CDL drivers license and South Dakota pesticide applicators license.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
The ideal candidate has experience in noxious control heavy equipment operations farm and ranch experience.
Knowledge of:
- basic habitat knowledge;
- noxious control;
- heavy equipment operation and repair;
- arm and ranch experience;
- prescribed fire;
- basic maintenance of equipment.
Ability to:
- handle chemicals and equipment safely;
- demonstrate a high level of safety awareness for self and others;
- diagnose vehicle and equipment malfunctions;
- obtain prescribed burning certifications;
- work independently and with a team.
