This position will report to the Business Development Manager at QUEST Alliance
QUEST Alliance works towards enabling individuals to build selflearning pathways in order to make meaning of their lives.
It isa notforprot trust that focuses on researchled innovation and advocacy in the eld of teaching and learning. We engage with educators civil society government institutions and corporate organisations to demonstrate and enable scalable and replicable solutions in school education and vocational training.

- QUEST Team Retreat: at QUEST: is in an expansion phase and is looking for a dynamic individual to drive QUESTs Communication & Branding. While QUEST has built a strong brand among several key donors and the NGO community in India the digital and virtual space has not received adequate attention. The individual chosen for this role will primarily look at augmenting QUESTs presence and marketing efforts using digital platforms and tools.
In this role you will drive all of QUESTs digital marketing activities and initiatives. This includes:
- Conceptualizing and executing digital fund raising and giving campaigns using platforms such as Global Giving Indiegogo Give India etc.
- Creating Social Media campaigns content and driving of these
- Augment QUESTs online and digital presence including refreshing the QUEST website and other digital real estate like LMS Blogs and creating innovative ways to communicate digitally with stakeholders
- Explore partnerships with digital marketing agencies and companies to expand QUESTs digital footprint
- Drive the adoption of QUESTs products and services using online channels
- Work with a PR firm to drive media engagement and relationships to showcase QUEST work
- Managing the promotion and marketing for the Annual conference
- Generate leads for Business Development through online research and networking
Brand Development
You will also be responsible to create and produce Communications material that is disseminated by QUEST including writing content for annual reports programmatic reports case studies on projects and beneficiaries and profiling impact of QUESTs initiatives. You will serve as the primary brand steward in the organization being the point of contact for all things QUEST to the external world. You will be responsible to ensure we communicate our brand in an effective and consistent manner to all our external and internal stakeholders.
Some examples of the work that will be involved:
- Manage QUESTs web presence social media outreach activities and content writing and design coordination for publications case studies research reports etc.
- Conceive & manage regular fundraising campaigns on behalf of QUEST Alliance both online and eventbased fundraising
- Industry engagement: you will organize events around industry engagement such as roundtables miniconferences or other interactions with industry to facilitate knowledge sharing between Industry and the vocational training providers
We are looking for an individual who:
- Is passionate about the challenges India is facing in educating its youth population
- Is very comfortable with all aspects of digital marketing and has worked on digital marketing initiatives previously
- Can work independently with minimal supervision and is a gogetter and a great communicator
- Can deal with ambiguity and proactively explore solutions
Skill Sets:
- Strong affinity towards online and digital marketing
- Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Hindi and Kannada is a big bonus
- Expert Microsoft Office Suite user
- Comfortable with leveraging all forms of social and online media: Facebook Twitter Custom fund raising campaigns etc.
- Knowledge of technologies is a bonus especially Adobe Creative Cloud / Creative Suite Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong understanding of Communications principles and Communicationsrelated tasks: newsletters bulletins Ezines etc.
- Any experience in event management is a plus
